Where Can I Put HTML on MySpace?
Fast Answer: You can
edit or paste HTML code in/into editable forms under the 'Interests
and Personality' tab in the MySpace edit profile area.
If you are going to
paste CSS code to change the colors and appearance of your profile
(code from online generators or templates), we strongly recommend
you put all of the code into the 'About Me' section under the
'Interest and Personality' tab.
The instructions below
have pictures of the MySpace Edit Profile editor. The example
below shows you how to make your MySpace 'headline' bold using HTML.
Step 1: Log into your account and click
Edit My Profile
- Log into your
account at www.myspace.com
- Click
Edit My Profile (In red in
the picture below

Step 2: You can put HTML code into any
field that is editable. These include all
fields in the Interest & Personality section.
Other sections have editable regions such as schools
and companies. However, it is strongly
recommended that you only put HTML in the fields
located under the Interests and Personality tab.
- Click on the (Edit)
link (See picture below).

 |
Step 3: Paste the HTML code directly,
and then edit the variables or change the text. You
can download our
cheat sheets,
and type the HTML code by hand.
- Paste the HTML
code, or type the HTML code in the field below.
- In the picture
below, you can see we are modifying the word Welcome! to
appear bold in the profile.
- Click preview

Notice in the following image, the
'Welcome!' headline is now bolded. We have just

Some hints when
inserting
HTML |
- HTML code is not
learned in one sitting. If you want the perfect
profile, please be prepared to take the time to
understand the code, modify the code and then preview.
Repeat these steps, so you can tweak the code for
optimal results. This may be a lot of work.
However, take comfort that it is required of all coders.
